It was the last day of the season for the Dairy Queen here in town. (By far the best Dairy Queen in the area.) We took LSP to the nearby playground, then over to the DQ for the last one this year. She must have been listening when I ordered her ice cream, because when we got home she ran around the kitchen yelling, "Child's size vanilla! Child's size vanilla!" Later we went to the grocery store, got out of the car, got into a cart...then realized we had left the list on the counter at home. So we got back in the car drove back to get it. When we got back to the store for the second time LSP kept asking, "Where's the list?" What a smartie! This evening we took advantage of the beautiful fall weather and wandered around the yard for awhile after dinner. Shiloh was especially full of vim and vigor, racing around with a back rubber frisbee, shaking it like crazy and making LSP laugh. I think they will be good buddies in the coming years, they are so cute together!
