Play and Play - Day 138

This morning LSP had her first gymnastics class here.  She LOVED it.  She did well, too.  A couple of the teachers remarked, "Wow!  She's strong!" as she held herself up easily on the parallel bars.  She's a tough cookie, too.  On the trampoline she and a little boy ran into each other and they both fell down.  She popped right back up and took off.  He started to cry and cry.  Poor kid, I think he was just scared, but LSP wasn't bothered in the least. 

This afternoon we hung out in the yard a bit as it was the perfect fall day here.  LSP was enthralled with picking up acorns for a good 45 minutes.  They cover the porch here and she would got so many she could barely hold them all...then try to pick up one more.  Then one more....then one more.  Down at the swings she was really interested in some dragonflies that were buzzing around and sitting on the bench.  She decided one needed some help, so she began bringing it handfuls of grass.  Very sweet.    She's a thoughtful little girl!
