Recently she saw an episode of Curious George with a chameleon in it. She was thrilled when Grampy got her this rubber one (or maybe it's a lizard, but don't tell her!)

Exciting day for little Miss LSP. This morning we went to a Corn Festival. She got to see a bunch of animals - including a goat that we watched them milk! We also got to eat a bunch of stuff made of corn, and got the recipes! LSP played with some pumpkins and did a few games. It was a beautiful perfect fall day, sunny with a little crispness in the air.
After the corn festival we traveled down the highway a bit to an open house at a music conservatory. There LSP got to participate in a musical instrument "petting zoo." She saw a trumpet, a trombone, numerous string instruments (including a bass) and a whole bunch of percussion instruments. The percussion was her favorite. She went bananas, hitting the drums and jumping all around the room. She also got to see a short performance and watch some kids in a dance class.
This afternoon was for wandering around the yard in the beautiful weather, smelling the sea air. Perfect! All in all a great day for LSP. And for me!
