Can't get them both to look at the camera at the same time!
Close enough!
Ta-da! Punches!
Mmmmm...lemonade and rabbit.
Today LSP and I visited with my friend K and her son A for awhile. LSP and A are 2 whole years apart in age but they played together really well today. Very cute. We were at an ice cream store we've never been to (can you imagine? It was yummy, too!) and they had a ton of fun running around playing with pine cones and rocks. Why do we buy toys again?
LSP's Nana is an accomplished papercrafter, and there is a whole room of the house devoted to crafting supplies. LSP loes to go peek into drawers and play with paper and stickers and tape. Oddly enough, though, her two very favorite things in the craft room are several drawers of shaped paper punches and several small glass jars of ribbon. She is constantly asking to "play punches" and she will line them up by size, or by color, or she will see how many fit in a small box, or in her pocket. The glass jars she has decided are cups of lemonade, and she serves them up to me nearly every day. Today she was "drinking" her lemonade and pretending to eat a small plastic rabbit at the same time. "Eat the bunny!" she declared, "Eat the bunny with onions." I swear I don't make this stuff up.
