Today LSP went to a birthday party for her good buddy J. She was so excited to go. "Wanna go to the party and have cake," she kept saying. Once there she asked for cake about 439,623 times per hour. It got to be comic. She was fixated on having cake. And the cake was in the fridge, so she hadn't even seen it. She just knows that birthday parties=cake, and she's all about that. Eventually we got to the cake part and she ate a bunch of it, so she was happy. Then she decided that she wanted a party. She asked for a party, and was not happy with any of my answers. (You're at a party now, we'll have a party another time, we'll have a party tomorrow...) She has a big crying meltdown over it. Eventually she asked for a party and I just said, "Ok!" and that seemed to make her happy. Not sure what I agreed to.
LSP has a crazy number of adorable party dresses. Right after last Christmas they were on clearance at the PX and I got her this totally cute dresses for like $2 each. We're always looking for an excuse to wear one, so today she did. She was so adorable - see for yourself!
