LSP does not appreciate Target now... but she will!
The angriest little ice cream truck driver.
Running amok in the mall.
Ice cream for lunch.
On the swings with A & S.
A & S read her one of the books they brought her. LSP was totally thrilled to have big kids read to her.
Dinner! A few months ago she would not drink milk at all...now she loves it.
Ice cream #2 of the day and her first Hoodsie. She mostly played with it. (A "Hoodsie" is a very local thing. I don't think she was impressed.)
A busy one for little LSP today. This morning we went shopping with Nana, including a visit to Target. As a military family living overseas, whenever someone says they are visiting the States, the other military wives will say wistfully, "Oh it will be so nice to visit friends and family..." (Pause here for several beats) "...and go to Target." Yup, Target ranks right up there with family and friends.
In any case we had fun at Target, then we did a few more errands and came home. This afternoon LSP had several visitors, my high school/college friend, L, and her kids A and S. They visited a few weeks ago and LSP just loved them. Today they arrived with a big bag full of their old toys for LSP to play with. It was like Christmas! New toys! New books! Wow! And I haven't even shown her the new DVD or stickers yet.
Nanny also came over to visit. LSP was a popular girl today. After all the visitors left Nana and Grampy took us out to dinner. LSP was very well behaved. The waitress even complimented her on her good behavior. That's my girl!

I don't think it is just the military wives that miss Target...ask any expat over here and they will all talk about how much they miss Target. ;) I am so jealous you got to go to Target. I was just talking about going there when I get home to some friends yesterday...and the prospect of leaving Amelia with Grandma so that I can just wander around...I cannot wait! ;)
