Apple of my Eye - Day 147

What is the perfect thing to do on a beautiful fall Sunday?  Go apple picking, of course!  So that is just what we did.  We went to a beautiful farm that is owned by a good friend of Aunt L and had a fabulous time.  We picked two huge bags of apples.  LSP got a giant kick out of pulling the apples off the trees.  She jumped up and down and clapped after the first one.  After we were done with apples we went on a trick or treat hayride through the orchards.  The hay wagon stopped every once in awhile so cartoon characters (well, OK, teenagers in character costumes) could get on and hand out candy and small toys.  After the second one LSP clued in to what was happening and got very excited.  She's going to love Halloween.

After spending time on the farm we went to lunch with Aunt L, Uncle M and Aunt L's mom, M.  It was a very yummy lunch and it was good to see everyone.  What a fun fall day!

Tonight we had more minor success on the potty, which was followed immediately by a small naked child streaking through the house laughing and dancing like crazy with happiness.  She danced and laughed and jumped for like five full minutes she was so proud!  Let's keep going with that!

Very first donut ever.  She has wanted one ever since we say a Curious George episode where he orders 100 dozen donuts by mistake.  She loved it!

Peep!  Peep!  Leaves!

Uncle M shows the best thing to do with an apple.

Hugs for M!
