PJ Battle - Day 50

Well here we are at Day 50. Only 315 more to go. Or, 5 more sets of 50, plus 15? Or...oh, forget it. It's still a long, long time.

Today I had lunch with 2 high school friends. We had a great time talking. We are all mommies of little ones so it was nice to talk to people who "get it." We had so much fun I forgot to take photos, can you believe that?!?

LSP had a nice afternoon with Nana and Grampy. She was tired this evening and we had our first temper tantrum involving clothing choices. She has a pair of PJs that have colorful blob-like creatures all over them. The top to the PJs says "Giggle Monster," hence they are the Giggle Monster pajamas. Tonight she wanted to wear them, though I tried to steer her in another direction. The pants are too long for her, and she kept insisting I pull them up more and "fix" them. The waistband was up to her armpits, but still the hems were dragging the ground. I suggested different pants and she lost her mind. Wanna wear Giggle Monster pants! Wanna wear Giggle Monster pants!" Then, "Fix it! Fix Giggle Monster pants!" She would not take them off and she was just beside herself over the hem length. Finally we wrestled them off of her and Nana ran upstairs to hem them while she cried. I suspect this is not our last battle over clothing choices.
