Don't pretend you've never wanted to eat your ice cream with your hands, too. Especially when it was 93 degrees outside.
Another busy day for LSP. Swim class, followed by nap, followed by trip to Dairy Queen for ice cream. The entertainment this evening was rolling a ball with a bell inside of it back and forth. Yes, you've got that right, my toddler played with a cat toy for a good chunk of the evening. Why buy toys?
Her latest thing is that when we go anywhere in the car we have to bring at least TWO stuff animals with us. Once in the car they must be buckled into the seat belts on either side of her car seat. You cannot set anything else on the back seat, like the diaper bag or a towel. The seat must be clear for her animals! Don't even think of trying to start down the driveway without strapping the animals in securely.
At home the larger stuffed animals need to be fully dressed. Elmo and Curious George routinely are sporting diapers, t-shirts and shoes. Tonight we branched out into one of the teddy bears. He got shoes and a shirt too. We are going to run out of shoes.
